Chronic Health & Immune Support

Looking at the wider picture when health concerns keep recurring

When a health concern has been present for a long time, keeps returning or seems to involve several areas of your wellbeing, it can be helpful to have time to look at the wider picture.

Homeopathy has been at the heart of my practice for 9 years. I am also a qualified Nutritionist, having qualified with Distinction, allowing nutrition, lifestyle and functional investigations to be considered where relevant.

Concerns people may bring to a consultation

  • Recurring minor illnesses
  • Allergy-related or auto-immune issues
  • Seasonal health concerns including hay fever
  • Fatigue or reduced energy
  • Recurring respiratory, digestive or skin concerns
  • Physical symptoms that seem to fluctuate with stress
  • Questions about nutrition, general resilience and wellbeing

Persistent, unexplained or worsening symptoms could also benefit from functional testing where relevant.

An individual homeopathic approach

Homeopathy is individualised, so the consultation looks beyond the name of a condition to the particular way your symptoms affect you, alongside your general health, sleep, energy, emotional wellbeing and health history.

Homeopathy helps to downregulate the immune system where it is overactive, and to boost it where it is suppressed, optimizing balance.

Functional Nutrition and immune health

My Functional Nutrition training allows us to consider factors such as diet, nutrient intake, digestive health, sleep, stress and lifestyle where these may be relevant to general health and immune function.

Supporting immune health and creating balance is the goal. The immune system is complex, and the aim is not simply to make it more active.

Allergies, intolerances and testing

If an allergy is suspected, it is important to distinguish a true allergy from food intolerance or other food-related symptoms. Recognised allergy testing and assessment may be appropriate where an IgE-mediated allergy is suspected, particularly where reactions are rapid or significant.

Functional or nutritional investigations may sometimes be considered for other digestive or food-related concerns, but these are not the same as diagnostic allergy testing. I will discuss the available options, their purpose and their limitations with you before you decide whether to proceed.

Functional Testing & nutritional support

Where there is a clear clinical rationale, advanced functional testing may provide additional information that can help guide an individual nutritional programme. I keep up to date with developments in functional testing and select investigations according to the individual rather than using a standard panel for everyone.

Where supplements are considered appropriate, I can also provide access to professional-quality practitioner supplements at a discounted price.

Your consultation

Consultations are available in Wimbledon and Sutton, as well as online. We can discuss whether Homeopathy, Functional Nutrition or a combination of approaches is relevant to what you are looking for.
